What is involved with the program?

FitCAMP is a fun outdoor group fitness class that includes top-notch fitness instruction and motivational training all designed to get you into great shape regardless of your current fitness level.

 

Why should I participate?

You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well being. In addition, you will meet great people who share your same passion for acquiring a healthier body and mind.

 

What is a typical fit camp?

Each workout is intentionally different to alleviate boredom and to give you maximum results in minimum time. Some of the things you can expect include: push-ups, squats, lunges, dips, running stairs, sprints and a whole lot more! No two classes will ever be the same!

 

Do I need to be in shape before starting this program?

Not at all! Whether you haven’t worked out in years or you are already fit, anyone can benefit from this program. Classes are designed to challenge all fitness levels. People of all ages, abilities and fitness levels will achieve incredible results.

 

What can I expect to achieve?

You can expect to drop inches and pounds while becoming more fit and toned. The program is designed to have you burning fat at a rate higher than you ever thought possible. You will also gain more confidence making a dramatic improvement in your physical well being. FitCAMP includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you'll lose inches and gain strength while looking and feeling better. Also, you'll meet great people who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body.

How soon will I see results?

Performance improvement can take place in as little as a couple of days. Visual improvement can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level and diet. Remember, everyone is different!

People just like you. Whether you have a few vanity pounds to lose or 50 plus pounds you’ll find FitCAMP to be the perfect program to help you achieve your fitness and weight loss goals!

 

What if I’m really overweight, can I sign up?

Depending on your current situation, and how many pounds overweight you are, we will always ask that you get clearance from your doctor before beginning our program.  Our goal is always to help you get and stay healthy.  Situations vary, so call us to discuss. NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! People of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

 

I am not a runner, is this program for me?

Yes!  We have designed our program on a progressive schedule to help you increase your endurance at a level you can handle.  You can start out walking if necessary, or do a light jog. When we do run, you will not be left by yourself.  Your instructor will help you every step of the way.

 

What do I need to bring?

An exercise mat or large towel, water, sweat towel, cross-trainers (are best), one set of 3-10lb dumbbells and a desire to get fit!

Also, make sure NOT to come on an empty stomach.
